Terms of Use

These Terms apply to IELTS Writing Coach Pro, available at https://coach.englishtopics.shop (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Sandra Borchardt (Teacher Sandra), Porto Alegre, Brazil ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

The Service gives AI-generated educational feedback on IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 and Task 2 responses, based on the publicly available IELTS Writing Assessment Criteria. It also offers grammar practice, score tracking and study tools.

  • Band scores are estimates, not official IELTS scores or examiner assessments.
  • We do not guarantee any band score or exam result.
  • AI feedback may contain mistakes. Use your own judgement and, where needed, a qualified teacher.

2. Your account

  • One account per person. Do not share your login or let others use your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
  • We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

3. Credits

  • One credit gives one feedback report. Credits are only used when a report is successfully created.
  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are granted. Expired credits cannot be restored.
  • Credits are personal, non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • New accounts may receive one free correction, once per email address.
  • Daily usage limits apply to protect the Service.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Hotmart, which acts as the seller and payment processor. Hotmart's terms apply to your purchase. Purchases include Hotmart's 7-day guarantee: you can request a refund through Hotmart within 7 days of purchase. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the unused credits from that purchase are removed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit abusive, illegal, hateful or offensive content;
  • try to extract, reveal or copy the Service's internal instructions, prompts or methodology;
  • use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated access;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its content, design, feedback methodology and study materials belong to Teacher Sandra. You may use them for your personal study only. You keep ownership of the essays you write; you give us permission to process them only to provide the Service.

7. IELTS trademark

IELTS is a registered trademark of its respective owners (the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge University Press & Assessment). This Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the IELTS test owners.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for exam results, decisions you make based on the feedback, or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
