Privacy Policy

This policy explains how IELTS Writing Coach Pro (https://coach.englishtopics.shop), operated by Sandra Borchardt (Teacher Sandra), Porto Alegre, Brazil, handles your personal data. We are the data controller.
1. Data we collect
- Your email address. Your password is handled by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text.
- Essays, questions, uploaded Task 1 images and descriptions you submit.
- The reports, band scores and history generated for you.
- Practice progress: grammar topics, band score log, 7-day routine and reflections.
- Purchase records received from Hotmart: email, name, transaction code and offer purchased.
- Credit balance and usage records.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the Service and create your feedback reports.
- To manage your credits and purchases.
- To answer support requests.
- To improve the product (for example, fixing errors and understanding which features are used).
Our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests, and your consent where required (for example, cookies).
3. AI processing
To create a report, your essay, question and any image are sent to third-party AI model providers through our platform provider, only to generate that report. We do not use your essays to train AI models, and we never sell your data.
4. Analytics and cookies
When enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity (to understand how pages are used) and the Meta Pixel (to measure visits, sign-ups and checkout clicks from our ads). Both use cookies and similar technologies and share usage data with Microsoft and Meta. You can block these with your browser settings or ad-blocking tools. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland see a cookie banner: Clarity and the Meta Pixel load only after you click "Accept", and nothing loads if you click "Reject". You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Hotmart. We never see or store your card details.
6. Hosting and service providers
Our app, database and authentication run on cloud hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under contract. These providers may store data outside your country.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in Brazil, the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep data
We keep your data until you delete your account, or for 24 months after your last activity, whichever comes first. When you delete your account we delete your essays, reports, scores, progress and login. We keep anonymised credit transaction records for accounting, and a record that your email has already received the free correction, to prevent abuse.
9. Your rights
Under the LGPD (Brazil), the GDPR (EU/UK) and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy (portability) of your data, and object to or restrict its use. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Email shb0425@gmail.com and we will reply within the legal deadline. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
10. Minors
Users under 18 should use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
